Transformation: I’ve Got Wonderful News

Transformation: I've Got Wonderful News

prov31grace

Yesterday, I asked the question what would be wonderful to you, right now?

Maybe a lot of you would answer like I would, “It would be great to know I’m on the right path for my life.” And for you tired mamas, you might feel it would be wonderful for someone else to make all the decisions. Am I right?

Life is so full of many questions, cares and concerns. If you are like me, I can get overwhelmed wondering if I’m making wise choices.

The wonderful news is the child of God is surrounded by help and guidance. For example, our good shepherd (Jesus) leads us, so He is out in front. The bible teaches us God is our rearguard, plus goodness and mercy are following us, so they are behind us as well. The Holy Spirit dwells within us. We’re surrounded by a cloud of witnesses, so the only place left for the enemy is under our feet! (and yet, we strain to listen to his lies floating up from beneath our feet!)

Don’t believe me? Read it for yourself:

“… he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.” John 10:3

“… And the God of Israel will be your rear guard.” Isaiah 52:12

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life … ” Psalm 23:6

“Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” 1 Cor. 3:16

“since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses,” Hebrews 12:1

Seriously, the only way the enemy can get to us is if we let him.

I’m on a journey

I’m on a journey to discover the requirements to be a prayer warrior. The first thing to remember is I’m not alone, I’m surrounded by heavenly help.

I want to take the next 27 days to examine truths about spiritual warfare, corporate prayer and the praying in agreement and learn to apply them to my life. I don’t pretend to know all the answers. I’m going to be thinking with my fingers, so to speak, as I process what is in my heart about these topics after reading the word and praying for discernment.

You can go here to see each post I will be making on this topic.

Today’s question for your consideration: What is broken?
