Ever since the fall of man, we have been living in a broken world; and as we approach the end of the age, that brokenness will become more evident.
But God has not left us defenseless. Not only has He promised to surround us with His presence (see I’VE GOT WONDERFUL NEWS), but He has also given us heavenly tools and spiritual strategies.
Most importantly, He has given us His Word and truth to build our lives upon. You can absolutely trust His Word.
Words I tell myself:
If His Word said it, it’s as good as done. You just have to wait for the manifestation of it. Faith is seeing something before it is revealed. We are called to walk by faith, not by sight. If you must wait until you see something before you step out, you’re not walking in faith.
An effective prayer warrior knows what God has said and bases his life on those truths. Moreover, he can step out in faith when convinced of God’s leading. And, if he can apply a scriptural truth and pray the scripture back to God, he knows he is praying God’s will.
But first he has to know the Word!
I’m on a journey to discover the requirements to be a prayer warrior. The first thing to remember is I’m not alone, I’m surrounded by heavenly help.
I want to take the next 26 days to examine truths about spiritual warfare, corporate prayer and the praying in agreement and learn to apply them to my life. I don’t pretend to know all the answers. I’m going to be thinking with my fingers, so to speak, as I process what is in my heart about these topics after reading the word and praying for discernment.

Today’s question for your consideration: What fascinates you about prayer?

This year, I too feel the need to pray a lot more for other people – especially the broken. Your post is a reminder for me to look more deeply at this.
Corinne, I feel God’s leading to make 2023 a year of prayer.
Thanks for dropping by!
As God wraps up His plans for us, we do need to be quiet and in prayer to hear His whispers of grace.
Amen! We’ve got to know God’s will through the Word in order to pray in his will!
“If His Word said it, it’s as good as done.” YES! Love that. What a great reminder.
“I’m going to be thinking with my fingers…”
Love this! Bless you as you learn what God has for you next.
