Suppose a president you admire invited you to the White House to ask you, the average citizen, what is foremost on your mind. This is your opportunity to fully express what has been burning in your heart. You’ve lots of ideas about things needing to be addressed. What would you do?
I think most of us would give him an earful of our thoughts and opinions.
Access to the Throne Room
Most of us will never be invited to the Oval Office. However, every child of God is invited to go – at any time – to the throne room, arguably the most extremely interesting place in the universe, and tell the King of Kings what is burning in our heart. Not only will He listen; but we are promised we can find grace and help in time of need there.
What’s more, we are told to go there BOLDLY.
A Benefit For The Child Of God
Why aren’t we taking advantage of this wonderful privilege? Could it be we often think we can handle things ourselves; or we go to our family and friends and ask their opinions first?
To become an effective prayer warrior, I want to train myself to always approach the throne first when there is a need. I want grace and mercy before I try to tackle anything!
I’m on a journey to discover the requirements to be a prayer warrior. The first thing to remember is I’m not alone, I’m surrounded by heavenly help.
I want to take the next 25 days to examine truths about spiritual warfare, corporate prayer and the praying in agreement and learn to apply them to my life. I don’t pretend to know all the answers. I’m going to be thinking with my fingers, so to speak, as I process what is in my heart about these topics after reading the word and praying for discernment.
You can go here to see each post I will be making on this topic.
Today’s question for your consideration: What does a community of prayer warriors do?

It’s so amazing to me that God invites us to come to him any time, and with all of our requests. Maybe more surprising that we don’t take him up on his invitation. Like you, I need to be trained to go to God first. Good word today!!
Thanks, Kym! I’m mainly writing to myself, wanting to reinforce the idea my first line of defense is to go to the Throne Room.
I do not think about this enough! Thank you for challenging me today!
Amy, I do not think about it enough, either. May it become the very first thing we think about when something comes up.
It’s amazing how much access we have to God and how little we value it. Thanks for this important reminder!
You’re so right, Corinne! Thanks for adding to the conversation.
Coming before the King of kings in the His Throne Room is an amazing privilege and opportunity, Jerralea! And Kim Walker-Smith’s song, Throne Room, is a great song/prayer.
